About the role

Are you an experienced Drill Fitter looking for long-term career opportunities as our operations continue to grow?

The role involves carrying out preventative and breakdown maintenance on heavy-duty mining equipment.

A key focus is coordinating maintenance activities to minimise downtime and support production, while maintaining high standards of safety, efficiency, and alignment with company values. Working across all areas of the underground mine, this position supports both development and production activities.

Experience with Sandvik drills and underground development and production drill maintenance is essential, along with solid knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems.

• Roster: 7/7 - 12 hours (day/night shift)

• Location: Peak Mine, Cobar NSW

• Flexibility: Would consider 14/14 for the right person

Travel options

• Residents enjoy a balanced roster and the opportunity to settle into the family-friendly township of Cobar. Relocation support is available, along with a residential allowance

• DIDO if you live within an 800km radius of the Mine site which includes a travel allowance

• FIFO from Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne

Qualifications and experience

• Recognised Australian Trade Certificate

• 12+ months of solid experience working on drills

• Experience with Sandvik DD421 and DL421 drills

• Underground development and production drill maintenance experience

• Solid knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems
